About Stirone Barleyfree

Stirone Barleyfree Brewery nasce a Fidenza (PR) per produrre LaGaia, una bevanda 100% sorgo bianco nazionale ispirata all’antica ricetta della birra di sorgo, bevanda diffusa in varie parti del mondo. Il nostro birraio ha portato in questo progetto tradizione brassicola e innovazione di prodotto ottenendo una bevanda fresca spumeggiante che ricorda la birra, ma LaGAIA ha la particolarità di essere anche completamente priva di glutine. La scelta del sorgo è motivata anche dal suo sapore particolare e dalle sue importanti caratteristiche nutraceutiche. Per essere originali bisogna ‘tornare alle origini’? Sicuramente nel “food”: un cereale antico e poco utilizzato nell’alimentazione come il sorgo (con una cui cultivar si realizzavano le vecchie scope di saggina) ci ha dato lo spunto per una bevanda innovativa.
