    The Kernel Brewery

    London, Greater London, England

The brewery springs from the need to have more good beer. Beer deserving of a certain attention. Beer that forces you to confront and consider what you are drinking. Upfront hops, lingering bitternesses, warming alcohols, bodies of malt. Lengths and depths of flavour. We make Pale Ales, IPA’s and old school London Porters and Stouts towards this end. Bottled alive, to give them time to grow. Our brews sometimes focus on the aromas, flavours and bitterness of hops; the complex warmth and layers of roasted malts; the clarity of cold fermentations; or the acidity, tannin, and texture contributed by mixed fermentations, by time and barrels, wild yeast and bacteria. All guided by the principles of simplicity and balance.

    Drop Project

    Mitcham, Greater London, England

Creating the freshest, premium flavoursome beers with consistent high-quality results. Pushing creative boundaries and creating the beers that both inspire our passions for the industry and our lifestyles. We don’t cut corners and you can taste it. We love the outdoors and enjoying nature to the max, whether we are in the sea or on the mountains. With an Eco conscious mindset, we are attempting to create as little a negative impact on the world as possible when brewing. We currently operate on a Solar site. Spent grain is recycled into local agricultural as animal feed. Spent yeast and hops are in turn recycled into compost directly on site. We have a one tree one brew policy, where we have committed to planting a tree for every batch brewed. We are by no means perfect, but we are trying… This also doesn’t stop with our beer production. All our Merch is produced exclusively from organic cotton. It is all EarthPositive, which is manufactured at facilities powered by green renewable energy, from low-impact raw materials and a member of the Fair Wear Foundation who protect workers rights and conditions. This amounts to an overall carbon footprint reduction of 90% compared to commonplace practices. We have ambitions for further carbon offsetting programs, so watch this space for those, and look to support the local community wherever possible.

    Hammerton Brewery

    London, Greater London, England

Hammerton Brewery is a microbrewery based in Islington brewing small batch beers with the aim to bring great tasting beer back to the borough and also re-establish the Hammerton Brewery name in London. Hammerton Brewery originally began brewing in London in 1868. Sadly it ceased to brew in the late 1950s and was later demolished. In 2014, a member of the Hammerton family decided to resurrect the family name in brewing. It also brings brewing back to Islington, a London borough with a great beer making heritage. Hammerton Beers today are based both on modern and traditional brewing techniques. The team are lovers of all things beer and our beers are influenced not just by English beers but the great beers found across the globe.

    Bohem Brewery

    London, Greater London, England

Bohem Brewery was founded in early 2017, by Petr Skocek and Zdenek Kudr. We are Czech expats, exclusively brewing traditional Bohemian lagers in London. Bohem could not keep up with demand at our old brewery in Whittington Road, so moved into new premises on an industrial estate on West Road, N17, in January 2018. We imported a new, bespoke brew-house, standard fermenters and conical tanks from Prostejov, in the Czech Republic, and hired a new brewer, from Brevnov Monastery Brewery. Our ethos is to treat lager with the respect it deserves. As such, we only work with high-end beer retailers, who can store and serve the beer properly, and have enthusiastic and trained staff, who can pass that knowledge onto their customers.

    Mondo Brewing Company

    London, Greater London, England

Spun on an axis of collective experience, we make beer that we want to drink, with our journey just as important as the destination. Founded in 2014, American brewers Todd Matteson and Thomas Palmer brought their night shift musings into the light and Mondo Brewing was born. A friendship underpinned by where they once called home, America, now taking root in Battersea. We make beer that is inclusive, not exclusive, with your enjoyment central to our approach. Our home is Mondo Tap. We’re not in a typical area for craft breweries in London but our location has afforded us space to grow, while maintaining a local customer base. The tap house itself is a hidden gem, just a stone’s throw from Battersea Power Station. Come see for yourself.
