Tērvete began brewing beer in 1971. In time the brewery has grown and developed. Thanks to the enthusiasm of brewery's employees and their dedication to the product, Tērvete beer became highly valued among Latvian beer connoisseurs. Our brewery masters respect ancient traditions and use thoroughly selected self-grown ingredients in production so the beer taste reflects years of mastering experience. This makes the Tērvete beer a truly unique product. The value of Tērvete beer is impossible to measure in market shares or sold liters. It is the special taste that beer connoisseurs appreciate in Latvia and worldwide. For us it is important to produce a beer with a certain credibility. The evidence of beer quality comes with a public recognition and government sign of quality "Kvalitatīvs produkts. Latvija " or "The Green Spoon". Tērvete beer is the only beer in Latvia that has such a high quality assessment. All production processes are thoroughly monitored by the Food Safety Management Systems quotes (FSMS), but the most important factor of quality control is provided by our brewer-specialists who know and respect the taste of high quality beer.
