About Pivovar Xaver

Beer has been brewed in Blučina from the end of 16th century and around the year 1560 local brewery was established, but it burned down in 1884. The modern history of brewing in Blučina is written by Svatopluk Strava, brewery owner and brewer in one person. The brewery was founded in 2005. The brewery Xaver currently produces four kinds of beer: Xaver 12%, Oldřich 18%, Vladimír 22% and cannabis Ludmila 12%. Pivo se v Blučině vařilo od konce 16. století a někdy kolem roku 1560 vznikl obecní pivovar, ten však roku 1884 vyhořel. Novodobou historii blučinského pivovarnictví píše Svatopluk Strava, majitel pivovaru a sládek v jedné osobě. Pivovar zakládá v roce 2005. V současné době produkuje čtyři druhy pěnivého moku: dvanáctku Xaver, osmnáctku Oldřich, dvaadvacítku Vladimír a konopnou dvanáctku Ludmila.
