Weโre a new brewery based in Glasnevin, Dublin along the banks of the Royal Canal, founded by brewer Shane Long and the families behind some of Dublinโs best known pubs. Pubs that have years of experience knowing the tastes of their customers. โChanging Timesโ has created new locally brewed, authentic and refreshing tasting Irish drinks to meet changing tastes. Across the pub counters, customers were saying they were in the mood for change. They told these publican families that we should be brewing our own range. The wanted new, but refreshingly Irish draft beers. We listened and took note. That customer feedback led to chats, which became conversations, which became discussions between themselves and brewer Shane Long. Thatโs how Changing Times was born. Change has been good for modern Ireland. That is the spirit behind Changing Times - thereโs always time for something new. Changing Times is about changing minds, one sip at a time!

Trouble Brewing was founded when three friends, Thomas Prior, Stephen Clinch and Paul O Connor had visited one too many pubs that had no variety in the beers available, and decided that something needed to be done about it. So over a few of Thomasโs home-brewed bottles they set about starting a brewery that would go some way to addressing the issue. Figuring that beer should be presented in a humorous and fun way, they chose to name the brewery Trouble Brewing. The brewing equipment was procured from Sioux Falls in South Dakota, USA and set-up in Allenwood, Co. Kildare.

Having home brewed for years and then completed a Commercial Brewing course in the UK in Early January 2014, I decided to set about brewing our own beer just for The Larder Restaurant. At present we are Gypsy Brewers and very proud of where we are at and have great plans for the future. Dublin Brewer Brewery was set up in March 2014 and we launched our first beers in April of last year. We have grown over the last year and now have 4 beers in our collection. We launched in March 2014 with our much acclaimed 6.1% Dublin Brewer IPA. By its side we brought in a more accessible Dubllin Brewer Blonde at 4.5%. Both these beers we have brewed with Kevin O Hara in Independent Brewing , Carraroe, Co. Galway. In October of last year introduced two new beers. Firstly a more session-able IPA in Dublin Brewer Session IPA at 4.2% and Dublin Brewer Lager, at 4.5%. We have brewed both beers with Carrig Brewing in Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim. Our labels were designed by one of our long time customers Austin Butler of Mac Design.

Dublin City Brewing Co is an independent brewery founded by a group of like-minded friends with a background in the beer scene. We share a love of quality beer and a sense of adventure with a hint of the unknown. We started with a dream to brew quality beer for the world, made by an independent Irish brewery in our home city of Dublin. To revive a local tradition and be a force for good in our community. Our long history in the Parnell St area led us to the perfect space for our new venture. We set out on a journey to build a state-of-the-art brewery, designed from the ground up for great beer. Turning that dream into reality did not come easily in a year where the odds were stacked against us. Driven by passion and the backing of friends, family and our community, our brewery is back on track and in full swing. After a great deal of trial and error and against all the odds, our first brew, Liberator Irish Lager, is a true labour of love. Our tribute to pioneering spirits and glass-half-full hoptimists everywhere.

Currently brewed at JJ's Brewery in Limerick. For many generations my family have been artisans of the City of Dublin; butchers, dairy men, bacon curers, fishermen, market gardeners, brewers. Our connection with the city is as close today as it always was. My passion is to share new beer with my local area, to give something of me and my city to you. We were local, organic, recycling, making-do people out of necessity, long before it was popular. Our beers are a reflection of our values, wholesome, of exemplary quality and really very good. Let's drink beer our grandfathers would be proud of.
