About Wagtail Brewery

Welcome to Britain’s only chemical-free brewery! Wagtail Brewery was born when our home brewing project went into full-time production in 2006. Originally all our beers were only available bottle-conditioned, as a ½BBL Mossbrew Brewing Systems plant was initially used. From the March 2007, a 5BBL plant supplied by The Iceni Brewery began being used, allowing us to introduce cask beers too. We are a completely chemical-free brewery. No chemicals are kept onsite, and all cleaning is done with hot water and elbow grease! Our beers can be found locally; at Old Buckenham Stores, Banham Post Office, Garboldisham Shop, Sir Toby’s Beer Stall in Norwich Market, Stiffkey Stores and The Real Ale Shop at Branthill Farm, Wells-next-the-Sea.
