About Minipivovar Jelínkova vila

Minipivovar v Jelínkově vile (dříve též zvaný jako Malostránský) byl vystavěn a zprovozněn v průběhu let 2003 – 2004. První vaření piva zde proběhlo na Velký pátek 9. dubna 2004. Pivovar tím navázal na staletou tradici vaření piva ve Velkém Meziříčí, která zanikla v únoru 1949. Maximální možnou varnou produkcí 4000 hektolitrů piva ročně se řadí do kategorie minipivovarů. Pivo se vaří tradiční rukodělnou metodou a poctivou českou cestou "varna – spilka – sklep". The first brewing took place there on Good Friday on 9 April 2004. The brewery thus followed up to the hundred-year tradition of brewing in Velké Meziříčí, which was interrupted in 1949. With its maximum production volume of 4000 hectolitres of beer the brewery is classified in the category of mini-breweries. Our beer is unfiltered and non-pasteurised, brewed by using a traditional manual method. Typical copper brewing vessels in which the brewing process takes place are situated directly in the stylish restaurant. At present you can taste three sorts of beer – light lager, dark lager and special, which bear the same name "Velkomeziříčský Harrach".
