About Microbrouwerij PIKAFLOR

Microbrewery PIKAFLOR is a very small craft brewery in Wetteren (Belgium). Taste comes first at Microbrewery De Backer! Brewing is mainly done with high-quality Belgian ingredients. All my artisanal beers contain: 100% Belgian malt - 100% Belgian hops - 100% Belgian yeast. All beers are exclusively brewed and manually bottled within the walls of the former water mill "the Maelbroekmolen". The Maalbroekmolen dates from 1547 and served as a grain mill. At the time, the iron undershot water wheel was one of the largest in Flanders. The chimney dates from 1894. The site is very idyllically situated next to a river and is situated along the "Molenbeekpad" walking route. Come and taste the artisanally brewed beers! Steffen is happy to show you around in his microbrewery! The passionate microbrewer lets you smell and taste the ingredients and explains to you in a clear way how the artisanal beers are made.
