About Little Rivers Brewing Co

Chris and partner Jess Coniston are the founders and driving force of Little Rivers Brewing Company. After a stint working at Burleigh Brewing in Queensland for two years, Chris and Jess returned to Tassie and spent many months researching and planning Little Rivers. Eventually the site was selected in Scottsdale, and Stephen and Tracy Love joined them to form the final four directors / partners. Prior to Chris's time as a brewer at Burleigh, Chris was a winemaker for 7+ years at Tasmania's Pipers Brook Winery. His knowledge and winemaking experience were key attributes for his new venture, and as a brewer in his own business he hit the ground running. Six months into establishing Little Rivers in Feb 2014, an entire new brewery system and building expansion was needed to meet demand. November 2015 saw the new kit installed and operational. After struggling to meet demand for our core beers in the early years, we're now branching out with specialties and new brews to enjoy.
