About Lønstrup Bryghus

In January 2018, the owners of Keramikcafé Møllehuset, just outside Lønstrup, decided to become self-sufficient in beer. With a good deal of interest and naive tenacity, the first beers were brewed by family and friends in the Café's kitchen, under the name 'Møllehusets Bryghus'. Since then, many exciting beers have been added to: a refreshing Citra Pale Ale, a classic German Gose, a fruity Black IPA, a coffee stout, a full-bodied lager and an Irish Red Ale, to name a handful. With a wide range of good beers, there is eventually something for every taste. But we still brew the beers ourselves - and our interest in the golden drops has only increased. Lønstrup Bryghus (changed name in 2022 from Møllehusets Bryghus) is a real nano-brewery that produces around 3,500 liters of beer on an annual basis. The small batches allow us to experiment and improve our recipes at short intervals. We can taste the constant improvement - and we hope you can too . 2022 we upgraded with a 1/2 BLL plant from SS-brewtech and 4 mantle tanks with chiller. The beer is certified organic, which we believe provides both the best taste and the best conditions for our environment. The labels are designed by the family's children, all of whom have an artistic background. The beers therefore come with many different graphic expressions, but it is important for all of them that they must match the beer.
