About Keltek Brewery
Based in Redruth, the heart of Cornwall's historic mining community, Keltek, meaning ‘Celtic’ in the Cornish language, was chosen as the brewery’s name by founder Stuart Heath. His passion for beer led him into brewing in 1997, frustrated at unimaginative, flavourless beer at his local. On winning gold for his first brew, demand grew and he expanded; first to Lostwithiel then again in 2007 to Redruth. In 2013 Keltek acquired four pubs in the brewery vicinity, becoming just the second brewery in Cornwall to own its own pubs, and in 2016 acquired two more. Keltek is a family owned and adheres to the age old traditions of brewing by hand with care and craftsmanship, using the finest whole hop flowers, British malts and hand-pitched yeast.
