About Treen's

We are Simon and Sarah Treen. We both come from Cornish families, something we’re immensely proud of. We are also very proud to be producing quality Cornish ales, which is why we have put our name to it. With over fifteen years in the industry and a degree in brewing behind him, Simon brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the job. It has long been his dream to run his own brewery. We started Treen’s Brewery in 2016. Within a few short weeks our first beer, Cuckoo, had won a silver award at Falmouth Beer Festival and we have accrued awards at local and regional beer festivals every year since. In 2023 we won a bronze at the Great British Beer Festival with smoked ale, Smoulder, and in 2024 our golden ale Essential was a finalist at the Champion Beer of Britain judging. Winning awards is amazing, but what we love best is seeing people enjoy our delicious beers, which we supply direct to pubs across the whole of Cornwall.
