About Hard Knox™ Brewery
A Craft Beer destination in Black Diamond, Alberta - an Alberta Tourism 'Cool Little Town' on the 'Cowboy Trail'. With a 1000 sq.ft. taproom to serve the local community, bikers, cyclists, campers, and families visiting the Heart of the Foothills. It is our goal to create a sense of community, and become the local watering hole after a hard days work. Hard Knox™ brings an Artisan beer experience to everyone that passes by, offering a creative selection of styles, made with local ingredients, often hand harvested combined with the local Alberta barley, malt, and yeast captured from nature. We will work hard to make beer that will appeal to the local community, craft beer enthusiasts and curious tourists, from Light Ales for the newbie to craft beer and for the lover of Craft Beer IPA's, Wheat Ales and Dark beers. Like the roots of the chosen name, Hard Knox™ we reflect on how the area came to be back in the early 1900's, through history in pictures and want to pay homage to the hard-working coal miners, riggers, laborers, cowboys, farmers, ranchers and wives who established the Heart of the Foothills.
