About Four Candles

We are the smallest brewpub in Britain and the first alehouse in Broadstairs & St. Peter's, dedicated to serving the finest real ales, ciders, and wines and being the best alehouse in the world! A real ale brewery crammed into a cellar little more than 3m x 3m - and the results sold in the cosy drinking area above. No regular beers, no big-brewery products. Biddenden ciders, wines and fruit juices, Canterbury cheeses, local pork pies, pork scratchings. No lagers, no spirits, no piped music, no Sky TV, no wi-fi and we boast terrible mobile phone reception. So customers have to make their own entertainment. Be prepared to talk to the regulars because they will probably talk to you. (This is not a place for a romantic tete-a-tete.)
