    BentSpoke Brewing Co

    Braddon, Australian Capital Territory, Australia

Nothing worthwhile comes easily. Taking the familiar road can rob life of its flavour. So at BentSpoke we take a more adventurous route knowing all too well that it will bend a few spokes along the way. BentSpoke Brewing Co is the brainchild of Champion Australian brewer Richard Watkins and Tracy Margrain. On June 6, 2014 BentSpoke threw its doors open in the inner Canberra suburb of Braddon to overwhelming support from the local community. 3000 litres of beer was served in the first week at the single venue. In November of 2016, BentSpoke released its first two packaged beers in cans. This next chapter for BentSpoke is made possible by the new production brewery known as β€˜The Cannery’ in the northern Canberra suburb of Mitchell. Richard is Australia’s current longest serving craft brewer starting his career in 1994. With a swag of national and international medals to their name, BentSpoke is firmly cemented in the Australian beer scene. BentSpoke believes in bending the rules of beer and is focused on delivering a world class beer experience.

    StoneAge Brewing

    Pialligo, Australian Capital Territory, Australia

StoneAge Brewing is a local Canberra microbrewery producing top quality, hand-crafted beer in small quantities. Located on premise at King O’Malley’s, we always have a StoneAge beer on tap. Come in and check out what’s pouring today! StoneAge Brewing is one of the smallest micro-breweries in Canberra starting out in late 2016. Originating in small beginnings, this brewery has vision to expand to a wider market. It was formed by two guys who started brewing in their garage, but took the opportunity to brew exclusive beers for King O’Malley's Irish Pub in Canberra. There’s a core range that rotates through on tap, but because of their small size they’re always experimenting to make something new for people to try. These beers are maltier in taste which is bucking current trends and takes inspiration from traditional English beers whilst still fitting into the Australian craft beer scene. Currently, these beers are still exclusive to King O’Malley's and you can catch one of the brewers (Mark) behind the bar weekdays who is happy for a chat about all things beer.
