About Swan Walters & Son

Swan Walters & Son is owned and operated by Jon Saxon of Son of Saxon (the Son bit) which owns two pubs: (The Dog Hangs Well parlour pub at 14 Corve Street, Ludlow, SY8 1DA, and The Blood Bay Victorian pub: 13 High Street, Ludlow, SY8 1BS). Son of Saxon is also the publisher of Doghouse – the British pub magazine. Aside from the India Pale, all of the beers are trial brewed by Jimmy Swan (the Swan bit) on a pilot 300-pint plant at Swan Brewery, Leominster, before being scaled up on their 10BBL kit. Gary Walters (the Walters bit) brews the India Pale on Ludlow Brewing Co's 20BBL kit.
