About SteinHaus Cervejas Artesanais

SteinHaus Brewery THE FIRST BREWERY OF BRAZIL WITH 100% ORGANIC AND SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION The SteinHaus Brewery - the Stone House stems from a multi-stakeholder effort. The result was a handmade work on the basalt stone. The house was seated, stone by stone, with the use of hand tools like the castilhador, the mallet and the pointer. It took 33,000 units to build the SteinHaus Brewery. The stones used in the construction were collected in the middle of the fields, and until then they were a hindrance to the barley and wheat crops. We are a small brewery with low production capacity, which gives us a differentiated dynamic in the production and in the creation of recipes of beers produced in an artisan way. We use only grains of organic production, produced by family farmers of Serra Gaúcha. We believe that beer can be much more than a simple drink, but a unique sensory experience and therefore we use only sustainably grown grains on land near the production unit. Our farmers are dedicated and produce with biodiversity, diversifying crops within the same area and respecting and even favoring biodiversity in the area of planting. So we did not plant barley only in the same crop; We always intercalate with other cultures like yerba mate, araucarias, and this happens with all our production. We are no longer enemies of the beginning; On the contrary, we help you to settle in our farming, because the weed is strictly necessary to have a good fruit in the production.
