About Shorthead Brewing

Shorthead Brewing is a nano brewery based in Tieton, WA. It is dedicated to blue collar workers. It's named is derived from an aggregate crushing machine called a Short nhead Cone crusher. The "Short" in shorthead refers to the profile of the crushing zone where rock is crushed. It breaks and grinds rock into processed materials such as crushed gravel and manufactured (man made) sands. Owner and operator Chris Mylroie designed and built the brewery in Tieton, WA over the course of six months with the help of many friends. Chris had spent 16 years in the mining industry (half of his life at the time of starting Shorthead.) When you spend so many years of your life in a trade, it is only natural to incorporate it into your passions. The beers we craft are a tribute to the hard-working men and women that build our world's infrastructure. There is nothing better after working a 12-15 hour day than taking off your work boots and drinking a beer.
