About Shedshaker Brewing Co.

For the past 9 years, Castlemaine’s Shedshaker Brewing has been serving up a wide range of hand-made beers and showcasing the regions best wine, ciders and more. Now in its new bigger and brighter Taproom, Shedshaker Brewing offers even more for locals and visitors alike. Visitors to the Taproom will find a warm, welcoming space featuring an incredible hanging drum kit, local art adorning the walls and more than a dozen different beers on tap to try. Beer lovers will enjoy a tasting paddle with choices from lagers to sours, from IPAs to stouts, all made by hand on site. The well-stocked bar also features regional wines and spirits and as well as non-alcoholic options. Those who settle in for lunch or dinner, or anytime in between, can enjoy Italian-inspired dishes featuring locally sourced ingredients. With many vegan or vegan alternative options on the menu, sustainability is an important value of the business. The kitchen also stocks and uses as much local produce as possible, including coffee from Coffee Basics, chocolate from Cabosse & Feve, ice cream from Ice Cream Republic and cheese from Long Paddock, all of whom are neighbours at the Mill. Live music is another key feature of the Taproom, with live and free music on Thursday and Friday nights. So come on down and say hi to the team and enjoy real beer made here.
