About Retorto
Retorto was born due to the will of Marcello Ceresa, graduated in food science at Università Cattolica in Piacenza (Italy), after some years of experience working with other brewers in northern Italy. The name comes from a little town up in the valley where the brewery operates (Podenzano). We started with four kinds and further in the first year we launched other two beers and a little later our barley wine, called Malalingua. Actual production is about 30K gal/year, plant capacity is suitable up to 45K barrels/year
