About Ogopogo Brewing

Founded in 2018, Ogopogo Brewing is San Gabriel’s first craft brewery. Brewer-Owners Jason De La Torre and Ryan Edell are veterans of the Southern California brewing industry (Mason Aleworks, Saint Archer, Golden Road). They are fond of folklore, mythology, and palindromes. The beers are named for legendary creatures and figures from around the world, with the style of beer and ingredients used often linked through the country of origin. In their first year of operations, they were awarded a silver medal in the Belgian Witbier category at the 2019 Great American Beer Festival for Boeman Belgian White Ale. They received the same medal again in 2020.
