About Odyssey Brew Co

In 2013 our Odyssey began. Leaving the safe professions of law and insolvency shortly after getting married, we entered the wilds of running our own pub. But not just any pub – set up in an old launderette in Hereford, Beer in Hand is a unique venue specialising in craft beers and real cider, bringing great beer to a city previously bereft of choice. Since opening BIH we had slowly come to the realisation that too much cask ale was average, safe and worst of all woefully under conditioned. In 2014 we had the opportunity to acquire a brewery established in a grade 2 listed barn on the Brockhampton National Trust Estate. A chance to brew the beer we really wanted to sell – Odyssey Brew Co was born. It’s simple: we will only produce beer we are proud to drink – and sell – ourselves.
