About Low Key Barrel Project

Rumblings about a Low Key Barrel Project emerged from somewhere (possibly Kent?) in late 2020…and low and behold, the rumours were true! The Low Key Taproom opened in premises in central Ashford in 2020, although progress in the early stages was slow due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. But nonetheless, the Low Key Barrel Project was born, and we’ve been going from strength to strength ever since. What has come forth thus far are a collection of strong, complex, indulgent sipping beers, aged in what was previously spirit barrels, with extra ingredients for good measure! We also serve our own food menu in house too - come and visit us for a drink or three!
