About Laconia Ale Works

Laconia Ale Works is Sparta and Alleghany County’s first brewery locally owned and operated by Brandon & Rhesa Edwards. The 7 barrel brew house (located on the premises) will be focusing on local & regional styles, using as many local ingredients we come across (pumpkins, spruce tips, local hops, etc.). Wine and select craft cocktails along with a small food menu of Bratwursts and snacks are available. We offer Trivia every Thursday night starting at 7pm and Live music every Friday night with some of the region’s most talented musicians. Cheers to an awesome journey, Sparta.
