About Japas Cervejaria

Between bar conversations, meetups, and festivals, we found each other. We realized what brought us together: beyond being Japanese-Brazilian, we were also among the few women in the beer world. Since then, we’ve moved forward together with a purpose: to reconnect with our roots, break stereotypes, and prove with every sip that beer has no gender. With each recipe, we tell a story. With every label, a piece of who we are. We blend cultures, memories, aromas, and flavors. Brazil and Japan, heritage and innovation, all in the same glass. We are Japas. A word once used carelessly, without respect, but now carried with pride. We reclaim it, redefine it, and transform it. Because it’s part of our story, and it’s from that story that we learn. And so we never forget where we came from, each label carries our surnames: Kimura, Shimada, and Ueno. Families that are part of our story, and a tribute to those who came before us. That’s how we create beers full of history and free from tradition. ;)
