About Herrljunga Cider
Herrljunga Cider AB was founded in 1911, by church pastor Svennberg who needed communion wine for his services. First batches of cider were brewed back in 1969. Today it’s still an independent private owned company. The proper way to pronounce Herrljunga is ‘hair-lunga. The subsidiary brewery Gamlestadens Bryggeri was shut down in 2003.
