About Hawkshead Brewery

Hawkshead Brewery founded in 2002, in a barn just outside the village of Hawkshead in the Lake District, as one of the new wave of craft brewers, creating highly hopped flavoursome beers, which were rarely seen on cask. The brewery rapidly expanded and moved into its current home on Staveley Mill Yard, brewing on a 20 barrel Brewhouse and built a brewery tap - The Beer Hall. Their range is an eclectic mix of beers inspired both by the flavoursome hops of the new world and classic European styles and flavours. They use local Lake District water that falls on the hills and is filtered through mineral rocks which are great for brewing. The fresh mineral rich water which enhances the unique and refreshing flavour of our beers today.
