About Fowler Ranch Farm Brewery
Welcome to Fowler Ranch Farm Brewery, where our rich family history blends with local agriculture. Our journey began in Massachusetts before settling in San Francisco, where we started the city's first dairy. The land we now call home was a wedding gift to Bell Fagg in 1885, and her original home still stands on the ranch. Nestled in the heart of what was once the "Fruit Basket of the United States," our brewery honors this legacy. Bell's son, Eugene, launched Fowler Nurseries in 1912, growing thousands of pear trees while managing local packing sheds. Throughout the decades, our family has cultivated strong community ties, even during challenging times like the Japanese internment, when Eugene supported returning families. Today, the fourth generation continues this legacy. Denise Moore and her husband, Mason Moore, and her brother Phillip Johnson have transformed the ranch, adding agritourism elements like a Certified Farmers' Market—the only one on a farm in Northern California and a Pumpkin Patch. Our Farm Brewery aims to unite community and agriculture, inviting you to experience our love for farming and local produce. We call it "Farmony," and we can’t wait to share "The Gateway to Placer County Agriculture" with you!
