About Deer Creek Malthouse

Deer Creek Malthouse is the first commercial malthouse in Pennsylvania since prohibition. Founded in 2012, Deer Creek produces high quality, flavorful malt ingredients for craft brewers, distillers & food artisans. The Deer Creek "test kitchen" (i.e. barn) is a playground for craft food & beverage innovation. Our maltsters regularly brew experimental malthouse ales and lagers using 100% PA Craft Malt.
