About BlinderWeiss (בלינדרוייס)

Our story began 75 years ago, during World War II, in a small village near Uman in the Ukraine. Nina, Michael's grandmother, managed to escape from the German army. She hid with an Ukrainian family who, in exchange for hiding, asked Nina to work in the household. Nina's main job was to cook wheat from wheat. Ironically, the family sold the same brew to German soldiers who had conquered the village. The home cooking of the cider allowed her to be free and to be saved from the war. The combination of this piece of history and our love for beer encouraged us to set out and try to put together a unique recipe for a beer where wheat would be the absolute base. We have become a dream with a commitment to two main contours: 1. Break the limits of the standard 2. Make it great Thus, after hundreds of combinations of recipes and dozens of cooking attempts, we were able to come up with a delicious and unique wheat beer recipe in its free style. The road was fickle, like the quality of the equipment we had, but soon it was clear to everyone who tasted the beer in its latest version-the beer was fine, the time had come to expand and expose the beer to the world.
