Located in the heart of historic downtown Chambersburg, PA, Berg Brewing is a family-owned brewpub where local heritage and innovative craft beer collide. Set in a beautifully restored 19th-century building that once housed Sherk’s Hardware, the space features original hardwood floors, stamped tin ceilings, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Founded by Marine Corps veterans and brothers Kyle and Adam Underkoffler, Berg Brewing runs a small-batch 3.5-barrel system focused on freshness, creativity, and local ingredients. The beer lineup rotates frequently and includes highlights like the crisp Le Crème Cream Ale, juicy F.E.R.N. NEIPA, and the simple yet complex Springside Saison brewed. Beyond beer, Berg offers a chef-driven menu crafted by a Le Cordon Bleu-trained chef John Wassil, combining elevated pub fare with full entrée options.
