Sobremesa Drinks
Brecon, Powys, Wales
SOBREMESA Drinks is a multidisciplinary enterprise creating terroir-driven farmhouse beers and natural ciders as well as growing organic soft fruits to flavour the drinks. We started our cider adventure in 2021 and pressed our first batch at Lower Porthamel in 2022. In January 2022 we planted one acre of organic soft fruits at Racquety Farm, Hay-on-Wye. Our beer journey actually started ten years ago, and has taken us from Wales to Spain and back again, bringing together the best of both worlds. The main goal for SOBREMESA Drinks in the long term is to play a part in changing the current food system, by making drinks in a more sustainable way that prioritises short supply chains, local produce and the Welsh terroir. In 2026, we have moved our premises just outside Abergavenny, Wales

The Coach Brewing Co
Bridgend, Bridgend County Borough, Wales
We are The Coach Brewing Co, based out of our award winning free house in Bridgend, South Wales. Our brewery launched in 2018 and is in the middle of the pub for all to see. We create small batch, experimental ranges alongside our flagship core range. • As a community pub and brewery, we love getting our locals involved (we use artwork from our regulars for our pump-clips) and our experimental ranges have included collaborations with our friends, such as Tiny Rebel and Grey Trees, Beer Riff, Tenby Brewing Co, Electric Bear and many more. Most of all we just love beer; brewing it, pouring it and drinking it… We hope you enjoy it too. • The brew-kit itself is very much on display for all to see, with a walls knocked down and glass installed to open up vantage points, so customers will be able to sit and watch the magic happen on a brew day.

Grey Trees Brewery
Aberdare, Rhondda Cynon Taff, Wales
People in the Cynon Valley, like most places around the world, used to drink really local beer —crafted in one of the many brewhouses of our area. By 2011 this had all changed. Everyone in the pub I was running drank mass-produced lager. The bland boring global brands dominated. The independent breweries were gone. So, after a century of decline, I set off on a mission in early 2011— to get people in my valley drinking proper beer again. And while I was at it, create a great independent business that will hopefully grow and create jobs and wealth in my community. I bought a beautiful copper brew plant, breathed new life into an old industrial unit and got to work making the very best crafted ales. Proper beers, crafted locally with the best hops, finest malts and tastiest flavours. We don’t take shortcuts. Each brew is given plenty of time and passion. There’s no point rushing something so important. From an old industrial unit a great brewery is growing.

Cwrw Llŷn
Pwllheli, Gwynedd, Wales
Twelve of us invested into the business and the Cwrw Llŷn Brewery produced its first batch of beer in 2011. ‘Cwrw Llŷn’ means ‘Llŷn Beer’ and our beers are inspired by the people, places and things we love most about this beautiful corner of North Wales. That includes great friendships, wonderful local food, our many local legends and, of course, our exhilarating land and seascapes. We raise a glass to them all. Frequently. As a group of friends united by beer, us brewers come from a diverse range of backgrounds and expertise. Amongst our number are a couple of farmers and carpenters, a cheese producer, a printer and publisher, an accountant, a social worker and a sales executive. It’s proved to be a remarkably useful skillset. Our first brews were produced in the middle of the Llŷn countryside using restored brewing equipment in an old cow shed. Our maximum output was limited to six firkins per brew, and demand soon outstripped our ability to supply. By January 2012 we had moved to our brand-new purpose-built brewery in Nefyn. All our beer is still hand-made in small batches, which means we can ensure its quality and consistency. We produce around 180 firkins per week. Conscious of our carbon footprint, we recycle and reuse as much of our raw materials as we can. Spent brewing grains are used to feed local pigs and our waste hops are also recycled.
