Oden Brewing Company is a Brewery and Tap Room in Greensboro, NC. William Faulkner once wrote, “The Past is never dead. It’s not even past.” For the Odens of Greensboro, NC the past is more present than ever. Bill Oden, with the help of his brother John, his wife Jan and their families, opened a craft brewery in the same building that once housed his great grandfather’s bottling plant. William L. “Fate” Oden operated his soft drink bottling plant in the 1930’s and 1940’s in the towering industrial building formerly known as Buffalo Rock Bottling Plant. Now, decades after that plant shut its doors for the last time, the central Greensboro building has reopened its doors for business. Only this time, the Odens are making beer and serving it on premises.
