The Gulden Triomfator started off in 2014 with five enthusiastic home brewers buying their first beer kit, a Belgian tripel. After the first year four remained and continued to brew beers they liked themselves at home in the kitchen, garage or garden. Gradually their recipes matured after many trial-and-error and tasting rounds with friends. Having backgrounds in chemistry, construction, distribution and finance it seemed perfect to start a brewery of their own. In 2019 we decided to take the jump and start the Gulden Triomfator Brewing Company, to explore how far the taste of beer can go.

Dat je ouder wordt is een gegeven. Hoe jong je blijft, dat is een keuze. Wij zijn bierbrouwers en geen kwakzalvers. We maken geen toverdrank wat je opeens de kracht ervoor geeft. Dat heb je ook niet nodig want je bent al een superheld. Maar zelfs batman kan een goede sidekick gebruiken. Onze bieren zijn eigenzinnige karakters en ze halen precies dát in je naar boven waar ze zelf van overlopen. Laat bijvoorbeeld een Lellebel je helpen de bloemetjes buiten te zetten en gebruik een Gladjanus om die ene crush te versieren. Maar laat ze je vooral stimuleren te genieten van het leven! Wat willen we zeggen? De eeuwige jeugd zit van binnen, dus haal eruit wat erin zit! ‘Oud worden kan altijd nog’

“Letterlijk en figuurlijk ongefilterd” Wij staan voor no nonsense en recht voor zijn raap. Dat zie je terug in onze bieren. Gewoon goed bier, doordrinkbaar en zonder fratsen. Op vrijdag met de mannen de kroeg in. En dan het eten en de tijd vergeten. Af en toe eens uit de bocht vliegen en de dag erna op de blaren zitten. Ongepolijst bier en op het randje qua naamgeving, maar altijd met een knipoog. Zo staat Rauw Brouwers in het leven. Zo zijn onze bieren!

Bruut Craft Beer. Proudly experimental and happily non-conformist. Full flavored Artisan Craft Beer. Bruut brews in line with the Belgian tradition of attention to balance but also tries to innovate by experimenting with nowadays flavors and new infusion techiques. We try to differentiate from the still rather traditional Belgian beer market, while still staying true to its foundations. In 2016, Bruut shook up the Dutch beer scene when its hoppy triple Gajes was named The Best Beer of the Netherlands. The beer's unique combination of an above average bitterness and a strong citrus flavor stood out and is still a favorite among the brewery's fans. One year later, Bruut convinced the international beer scene as well when its blonde Stennis took home the first price in the Pale Ale & Amber Ale category at the Brussels Beer Challenge. Now, with renewed plans for our own fermentation pub on it's way. A host of funky experiments waiting in the wings.... Bruut aims (re)opening in summer 2022.
