DAGON Beverages Company Limited(DBCL) located in Yangon, MYANMAR, was established in early 1998. The company was a Joint Venture between Myanmar Economic Corporation(MEC), Bermuda's Brew Invest, together with Myanmar Golden Star(MGS) Company. On June 4 1997, an agreement was made where MEC had 50% stake Bermuda's Brew Invest had 35% stake and the rest was owned by MGS, a local beverage company. In 2009, MEC acquired all the shares and became the sole owner of the company.
