   An independent microbrewery established in 2015 in Nicosia Cyprus. Originally opened and worked for 5 years as a brewpub in the heart of old town. By moving to new facilities the focus stayed on the production of quality craft beers which could be enjoyed fresh and unspoiled all around the island. Pivo microbrewery is giving emphasis to the sensitivity and "healthiness" of craft beer so that it can emerge the advantages of non-filtration & non-pasteurization. PivoColdchain system guarantees the cold conditions of distribution, storage and serving and that Pivo beers never warmed up. When fresh and properly served, quality craft beer tastes the way the brewer intended and expected:  Clean and flavourful with the right characteristic fingerprint for the style. Owned by 4 brothers with huge passion on craft brewing, the science behind it and the social impact framing the craft beer industry Pivo aspires to change the whole idea around beer in Cyprus. That simply beer is not just an extra chilled yellow sparkling beverage with boring taste. We can do much much better than that. We definitely deserve more quality beer than that.

    Photos Photiades Breweries was officially formed as a company in 1963 after the acquisition of the oldest brewery in Cyprus, the Leon Brewery that was established in 1937. In 1967 the Company was granted the license to produce Carlsberg beer in Cyprus, which made Cyprus the first country to produce Carlsberg outside Denmark. In the past 50 years, Photos Photiades Breweries has produced Carlsberg beer with great success and has led it to be the leading beer in Cyprus with over 53% market share. More than the market share, Carlsberg has remarkably managed to become a part of modern Cypriot’s culture and everyday life.
