Hoyne Brewing
Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
With over thirty five years in the craft brewing industry, Sean Hoyne has earned a reputation for being one of the finest Brewmasters in the Pacific Northwest. Taught by one of the best, Sean had the privilege to learn his trade from Frank Appleton, one of the most influential brewers in BC. Together, they built Swans Brewpub in 1989, where Sean then became Brewmaster. In 1998 Sean moved on and built the brewery at the Canoe Brewpub, where he stayed as the Brewmaster for 13 years. During this time he developed a portfolio of award winning beers and a strong reputation in the local community. Finally, after years of dreaming about owning his own brewery, he finally said goodbye to the Canoe Brewpub in August of 2011. Together, he and his wife Chantal, began this next chapter and opened Hoyne Brewing Company. Through the Hoyne Brewing Company, Sean looks to continue his tradition of brewing the finest craft beer with uncompromising quality and consistency batch after batch. Following the advice of Frank Appleton, "make great beer and the rest will follow", Sean does just that. He seeks to make the best beer possible, beer that is interesting, flavourful, and enjoyable at every level. Beer that looks good in the glass, feels good in the mouth, and lifts the spirit.

Slow Hand Beer Company
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Slow Hand Beer Company was born out of the desire to craft objectively better Lagers. We take classic European styles and brew them with West Coast panache. A Slow Hand beer is brewed with enough character to keep the drinker interested, but not so big as to tire the palate. It is truly a session beer. It’s Lager for Beer Geeks. Beer you don’t have to think about for people who think about beer. We are proudly the only beer company in BC to focus solely on Lager styles - It's in our name! Lager production is a notoriously slow, long process, which is why most breweries don't give them much thought. They're also clean beers that require a skilful hand since there are no extreme flavours to cover up mistakes.

Luppolo Brewing Company
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Luppolo (pronounced loop-o-lo) means hops in Italian. We chose an Italian name because of the Italian heritage of two of our owners, but also because many of the values associated with Italian culture – quality, craftsmanship, community and family – really fit with what we’re trying to create at our brewery. For us, our beer is equally as important as the environment we create in our lounge. When you come to Luppolo Brewing Co. we want you to enjoy quality, craft beer and delicious food in a warm and welcoming environment that feels like your home away from home.

Brassneck Brewery
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
First & foremost, we are a manufacturer. We make beer. That’s it. The public space at Brassneck, i.e. the Growler Shop & Tasting Room are designed to have you, our customers feel as though you are part of our process. The brew house & cellar wrap around the tasting room & growler shop putting you in the very heart of the Brewery. We have a special type of liquor license. A Brewery Lounge. Patrons do not have to be seated as in many other Food Primary locations. This combined with our communal tables makes for a pleasant social environment. For now, though we are on the verge of expanding our production capabilities, we have a really tiny 10 Hec system, with an even smaller Nano system for batches of around 4 Hecs. Even though our system is small, we have lots of different fermenters. 10 in total. This allows us to brew lots of different beers on a constantly rotating basis. We are ALWAYS experimenting with different beer styles. We are only 8-9 months old & we’ve already brewed over 50 different beers. From Barrel Aged Imperial Stouts to Corn Lagers, Sour beers to English Milds, Brett Primary Fermented Wheat Ales to Traditional Saisons, the scope of beer styles is endless & we intend to cover them all! Our beer comes to you direct from the conditioning tanks in our cellar & sells out quickly, so it’s always fresh. We’re always evolving so get ready for more great beers as time goes by & we expand production & have greater capacity for experimentation.
