Birrificio Vecchia Orsa was founded in 2008 in a countryside farmhouse when the idea of a social enterprise met the passion for beer of a former sociology student, now the brewer at Vecchia Orsa.

Today, Vecchia Orsa produces approximately 1.000 hectoliters of craft beer each year, mostly top-fermented, unpasteurized, and bottle-conditioned. There are 13 beer styles produced in both bottles and kegs for draft distribution.

The Birrificio Vecchia Orsa’s social inclusion project focuses on people with disabilities, emphasizing the dignity and autonomy of every individual.
