## About

Here at St Andrews Beach Brewery we like to keep things simple and uncomplicated— the way life ought to be.

Our brewery calls the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria home. Set on a 92-acre property which was once home to one of Australia’s premier horse training facilities and proudly boasts a 1,200m grass racing track (now an exceptionally large fruit and vegetable patch).

Co-owner Andrew Purchase has lived on the Mornington Peninsula for most of his life, and had a goal to start a brewery that would highlight what the region has to offer. Having also co-owned a successful brewery in France, Andrew soon turned his attention to starting a craft brewery showcasing the Mornington Peninsula.

A unique opportunity presented itself when a world class horse training facility became available, St Andrews Beach Brewery co-owner Michael Freedman was already a part owner of the property and inspired by Andrew’s vision of turning the horse training facilities into a truly unique brewery he jumped onboard, along with 2013 Golden Slipper winning jockey Tommy Berry.

St Andrews Beach Brewery already produces its own beer and, as our crops mature, and our own produce grows we will use our own fruit, vegetables and hops within the brewery.
