Desde la antigüedad los vinos de Jerez han sido exportados a otros países.
Ya por el siglo XIII había intercambio comercial con Inglaterra. Durante años, nuestros vinos, viajaron a todo el mundo, pero... ¿cómo viajaban? En Barricas o Botas de Roble, que es como las llamamos en el Marco de Jerez, ya que el acero Inoxidable todavía no se había inventado. 
¿Dónde acababan esas Barricas? ¡Seguro que en el fuego no!
La Industria local utilizó estas magníficas vasijas para fabricar sus Whiskies, Cervezas, Licores…. Y ese es el principio de nuestra Cerveza artesana.
Con los mejores olorosos de Jerez-Xérèz-Sherry, envinamos durante meses las Botas de Roble en las que depositamos nuestra cerveza y la dejamos madurando hasta que la madera y el toque de Oloroso Sherry la convierten en  Cerveza Artesana con Alma de Sherry.
