## About

Com a saída de Estrela, Rio Grande do Sul, da antiga Cervejaria Polar, o estado ficou necessitado de uma cerveja artesanal que resgatasse os princípios germânicos e agradasse o padrão consumidor da região.

Nesse contexto, foi criada a Prost Bier, em 2006, na mesma cidade. É produzida sem qualquer tipo de conservante e estabilizante, com malte e lúpulo provenientes da Alemanha e da República Tcheca, além da puríssima água do Aquífero Guarany. A distribuição se concentra na Grande Porto Alegre, nos Vales do Rio Pardo e Taquari e na Serra. Hoje, conta com duas linhas: Pilsen e Trigo, tendo revolucionado a indústria cervejeira ao resgatar as garrafas de porcelana tipicamente teutônicas. Suas receitas foram cuidadosamente elaboradas por um mestre alemão, que permaneceu na fábrica por alguns anos.
