Bill is a life-long Texarkana resident, publisher and local historian (feel free to ask him about our name). Barley, malt, hops and yeast are but a slice of the materials with which he makes authentic handcrafted products. John has traveled the world doing a variety of book- and laptop-bound activities. Studied beers from each place along the way. Brews to recreate the best of those flavor experiences. Though separated by two decades, John and Bill share a deep-rooted love for beer. They both have extensive brewing experience and a meticulous approach to craft and process. Great beer is not an accident; John and Bill have refined their recipes through years of replication and many, many hours of taste testing. A mutual passion for history and for the Texarkana region inspired John and Bill to name their brewpub after a well-known location on the Red River. Their buildings are two of the oldest surviving structures in downtown Texarkana.
