L’histoire de la brasserie Moulins d’Ascq débute  en septembre 1999 dans le Nord de la France,  à quelques kilomètres de la frontière avec la Belgique. Le site de la ferme du Sens accueille la brasserie mais également un magasin de détail, une boulangerie et deux restaurants dans un cadre bucolique. Ce site constitue un complexe unique totalement dédié à l’agriculture biologique.
