We decided to take the proverbial fork in the road and take the road less travelled, invest our life savings, and do our part to help revitalize New Albany to the river town mecca it once was before steamboats faded away. We love our hometown and want to share our culinary and craft brewing passions with the community in a way that is hopefully unique and unforgettable. We are like many, in that we come from small town farming and small business families. However, we have also been blessed to travel the globe developing an appreciation for all cultures with a keen fondness for European countries where Craft Beer became what we now know it to be. Sitting in a cozy pub on the shore of Ireland after getting engaged on the Cliffs of Moher hours earlier; we made the decision to focus on our passions and bring a touch of Old World Europe back home with us. You will see those influences in all that we do, from the Food, the Froth and the Follies. ## What they brew - IPA — 31% of the beers we track - Other — 18% of the beers we track - Stout / Porter — 16% of the beers we track - Wheat Beer — 11% of the beers we track - Amber Ale — 10% of the beers we track - Pale Ale — 9% of the beers we track - Pale Lager — 5% of the beers we track ## Find them - Address: 45 West 1st Street, New Albany, Indiana, United States - Coordinates: 38.2827227, -85.8240007 - Website: http://www.floydcountybrewing.com/ ## Breweries nearby - [Fistful of Ale](https://finding.beer/brewery/fistful-of-ale-21882.md) — 3.80, Fine — New Albany, Indiana — 2.7 mi away - [Donum Dei Brewery](https://finding.beer/brewery/donum-dei-brewery-3389.md) — 3.53, Poor — New Albany, Indiana — 3 mi away - [New Albanian Brewing Company](https://finding.beer/brewery/new-albanian-brewing-company-3700.md) — 3.44, Poor — New Albany, Indiana — 3.2 mi away - [SoloS Brewing](https://finding.beer/brewery/solos-brewing-22309.md) — 3.59, Poor — Louisville, Kentucky — 4.1 mi away - [Noble Funk Brewing Co](https://finding.beer/brewery/noble-funk-brewing-co-23774.md) — 3.79, Fine — Louisville, Kentucky — 4.7 mi away - [Against the Grain Brewery](https://finding.beer/brewery/against-the-grain-brewery-3817.md) — 3.83, Fine — Louisville, Kentucky — 4.7 mi away - [Old Louisville Brewery](https://finding.beer/brewery/old-louisville-brewery-2600.md) — 3.73, Fine — Louisville, Kentucky — 4.8 mi away - [Goodwood Brewing](https://finding.beer/brewery/goodwood-brewing-1815.md) — 3.60, Poor — Louisville, Kentucky — 5 mi away ## Rankings this brewery appears in - [Best breweries in Louisville, Kentucky](https://finding.beer/breweries/united-states/kentucky/louisville.md) - [Best breweries in Indiana](https://finding.beer/breweries/united-states/indiana.md) - [Best breweries in United States](https://finding.beer/breweries/united-states.md) --- Finding Beer scores breweries on the beer they brew rather than on the venue.
