Cerveza Montmirà nace con la ilusión por volver a elaborar un producto según métodos tradicionales, demostrando que no todo es fabricar productos industriales en los que no se refleja una elaboración cuidada y meticulosa, y lo que prima es la cantidad y no la calidad.
Cerveza Montmirà utiliza en su etiqueta el blasón de l´Alcora. Este blasón ya lo utilizaba una famosa gaseosa que se elaboraba a mediados del siglo pasado en esta localidad, como un recuerdo a este producto, y para no olvidar sus raíces y su pasado, lo incluyen en la etiqueta, añadiendo también el año en que se otorga el blasón a la localidad de Alcora, 1695.
Según estudios se han encontrado restos íberos entre los que se incluía una especie de cebada fermentada, por ello el nombre "Montmirà" procede del nombre del primer asentamiento íbero en este lugar.
