“Coltiviamo BIRRA ai piedi del Monviso”
Un duro lavoro e anni di studio dedicati alla ricerca di una gamma di sapori e aromi autentici, hanno reso possibile la nascita di Kauss, il 23 Aprile 2012.
Sin dall’inizio i tre amici e soci fondatori hanno voluto rappresentare una birra legata all’economia locale e alle proprie origini, rispettosa della natura e intransigente sulla qualità e genuinità delle materie prime. 
Il birrificio trova spazio presso l’edificio rurale della famiglia di Luigi (il mastro birraio), ristrutturato ad hoc per ospitare l’impianto di produzione, con spazi e ottime opportunità di sviluppo.

Nel 2017 la transizione a birrificio agricolo’ è ufficiale e i cereali necessari alla birrificazione iniziano a crescere ai piedi del Monviso nella Val Varaita, una valle della regione 
Piemonte caratterizzata da un terreno ricco di biodiversità, di sostanze nutritive e di acqua.

Proprio l’acqua della Val Varaita riveste grande importanza, rivelandosi subito perfetta per le ricette studiate da Luigi, Diego e Ivan.
