Ogden River Brewing began as the passion project of former railroad conductor and avid homebrewer, Pat Winslow. Pat began brewing in the early 2000s and soon realized he had a taste and talent for it. After he retired from his day job, Pat launched a Kickstarter to make his dream a reality, raising more than $30,000. Since 2017, the vision for Ogden River Brewing has grown and our passionate team has expanded. We’re committed to being a sustaining, supportive and involved fixture of the Ogden community. Ogden River opened on 10/28/2020 and is a full brew pub concept with an on-site 10 BBL system and 10 draft taps. Cheers!

Opened in 1994, Kym and Pete Buttschardt opened the first Roosters Brewing Company on Historic 25th Street in Downtown Ogden. Roosters in Layton opened in 2005. Our West Ogden production facility and bar, B street, is now up and running.

Every single one of our cervezas are brewed and flavored with ingredients common in Mexican culture: piloncillo, canela, agave nectar, chiles. Brewed with the soul of Mexico, each beer was influenced by our family's Mexican traditions. That's what makes us different. Years of experimenting went into developing Cerveza Zólupez unique beer recipes. The grain bill and flavorings are especially designed to be paired with Mexican food and savory dishes. Enjoy!
