Our Sour Program began in 2006 as a way to entertain our curious brewers looking for innovative flavor combinations. Upland, now the third-largest brewery in Indiana, brews more than 50 different styles of beer annually.

Metal Works Brewing Company is the culmination of a passion for beer, food, and custom metal art, alongside a desire to be actively involved in the Bloomington community. Launched in June 2022, Metal Works Brewing Company has been in the works for several months, preparing to transition from a staple in Bloomington, Function Brewing. Metal Works Brewing Company is locally owned and operated underneath the Endeavor Hospitality Group. EHG is a conglomerate of local Bloomington restaurants and will be serving Metal Works beers inside several of their locations. Our goal at our taproom is to continually have something new on draft and fill your belly with great food, all while still keeping a supply of our standard beers.
