21. Campervan Brewery

Edinburgh, Scotland

Scottish Small Brewery of the Year 2023 - Scottish Beer Awards Campervan Brewery started as many great stories do - a garage, a 1973 VW Campervan (β€˜Olive’), a brew kit and a dream. After serious illnesses to his wife and daughter forced a career break, Paul Gibson evaluated his passions in life – beer, classic VW campervans, surf, the great outdoors, travel, food and family life – and began the Campervan Brewery to tie these elements together. Brewing had been Paul’s respite in these tough times, and after several promising years of both garage and transient brews in Olive (including at Edinburgh Botanical Gardens), Campervan Brewery was opened in 2017 in Leith, Edinburgh. This was soon followed by Lost In Leith, one of the few specialist beer bars in Scotland catering to weird and wonderful styles from across the world. With a passionate local following, Campervan is now recognised as one of Edinburgh's (& Scotland's) best breweries due to our strong core range and interesting array of special releases, from sour beers to imperial stouts. Despite several increases in production over the last year, Campervan is once again operating at full capacity and a very exciting future beckons for the brewery as we look to expand and modernise with a completely new kit. With our products available across Scotland, England and internationally, Campervan is wandering but not lost.
