Jeff & Rhett McGahee have shared a love for Mexico and it's people from the day they met in 2002. Whenever time and finances allowed, the two would venture south to enjoy the vibrant culture. In 2010, the duo landed on the shores of Isla Mujeres with their 10 month old daughter in tow. The McGahees had always dreamed of a life in Mexico, and upon experiencing the sense of family and community that is Isla Mujeres, they knew that Isla was destined to be their home. Meanwhile back at home. . . Asheville, in the mountains of Western North Carolina, was experiencing an explosion of microbreweries and brewpubs, earning the tiltle of Beer City USA for several years. Like many Ashevillians, Jeff had long since been brewing beer at home, and the extensive community of beer enthusiasts provided the perfect environment for him to hone his craft. So . . . in the Summer of 2013, The McGahees liquidated their world in Asheville and made the leap into to their next big adventure. . .

Nuestros inicios datan desde 1890 en la Cervecería Bremer Brauerei en Bremen, Alemania, propiedad de Johann Fridolin Schoener bisabuelo de nuestro fundador Daniel Arroyo Schoener, la cual por dificultades ocasionadas por la segunda guerra mundial tuvo que venderla a Grupo Becks, actualmente Anheueser-Bush in Bev, razón por la cual nuestro fundador en el afán de continuar con esta tradición familiar en 2014 creó Cervecería Cancún, quien junto con dos renombrados maestros cerveceros, crearon las fórmulas de nuestras cervezas.
